Whimsical Winter Collaboration at Mt. Washington
When we approached The Bride’s Closet, MLKANHNY, Purely Flower, The Little Green Apple and, of course Shear Inspiration to participate in this shoot – we were touched by the immediate and positive response of each person. All of these businesses are owned by women, working hard every day to create beauty to inspire and enrich the lives of those around them, and it’s a privilege to work with them!
Below are a few {island} moments from our afternoon on magical Mt. Washington.
A parking lot attendant who kindly sent us to the best spot at the lodge – and took not one, but the bag of cookies we offered him, in thanks 😉 Fair trade, for sure!
Gray jays, aka Whiskey Jacks, who refused to land on our pretty china plate, but happily perched on the model’s hands to eat the bird food we brought!
Parents who kindly helped pull us (Lisa) out of a snow drift, carried props, adjusted dresses and brought warm drinks!
Models not only stunning in looks, but so sweet and so kind to stand in the snow and cold — for just one more shot…
We had two couples for this session, but we’re only sharing one for now – as our second set will be featured in the Vancouver Island Wedding Ring magazine in September – we are SO excited!!!
