The palm trees bordering the ceremony sway gently in the balmy breeze. A momma humpback whale breaching in the distance as vows are exchanged. The look on Aaron’s face. The tears in Brandi’s eyes. It all made for the most picturesque and magical moment. If you didn’t believe in love and ‘meant to be moments,’ this wedding would have changed your mind completely.
We were asked to fly all the way from Vancouver Island (aka the big island in Canada), to, coincidentally, the Big Island of Hawaii, in February to photograph the wedding of Aaron and Brandi. Of course our response was -yes please-! Our week in Hawaii consisted of meeting with A&B and their wedding coordinator, petting sea turtles, exploring volcanoes, attending the wedding to capture the most romantic sunset photos, and watching baby spinner dolphins attempt their first twirls. Our week was made of pure bliss… and so was our bridal couple <3
